Earthsea
I watched the sci-fi original mini-series "The Legend of Earthsea" the other day, and it was actually quite good. I must admit, I am surprised that I enjoyed it, because usually..Sci-Fi original events are extremely STUPID...Anyone who's watched the movies "Raptor Island" and "Anonymous Rex" will understand what I meant.
I'm not saying ALL Sci-Fi originals are horrible...but a lot of them are..So I was surprised at how much I enjoyed Earthsea....
If you haven't seen it, you oughta watch it..Sci-fi is showing both parts back-to=back almost daily..As a matter of fact, I THINK they may be even showing one pf the parts right now as I type this....
If you miss one of the bazillion airings on the sci-fi channel..Don't worry too much about it..I'm sure it will be released on DVD and you can buy/rent it then to watch..It might cost you a little bit..but it would be worth it..It was REALLY good.

That Picture is a photo that was snapped just outside this morning...and the reason it looks the way it does is because of all the dang peasoup fog. You couldn't even see across the street.
Sith Lords
I just picked up Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords yesterday, and started playing it..It's not a bad game really..I must admit, I did expect more from it..Simply because the original KOTOR was such a rockin' game!
The game starts off slow, and actually kinda drags on..and gets a tad boring really..But after you get into the game..it does pick up and start to become a pretty snazzy title..
As I said, the game so far isn't as impressive as the first KOTOR, but it's still pretty good..and who knows? mebbe as I get deeper into the game..it just MAY become as good as the original.
Lovin' WoW
I've been playing World of Warcraft a LOT lately, and I must say...I am LOVING this game! I love the fact that it looks so nice, yet also has a sort of cartoonish feel to it. It's also not extremely difficult to get the hang of...but it's also not overly simple..It's just right.
As I said though, I have been playing WoW a lot, which means I haven't played City of Heroes at ALL since WoW came along..which leaves me with a choice to make. Should I cancel my subscription to CoH? I'm thinking..Yes, because...it's kind of expensive to pay that if i'm not going to play it.
So...anyway, yeah...Apparently I am going to be canceling my CoH account..which means Starbourne is gonna go bye-bye..
WoW
Several months back I, like a lot of gamers..Applied for the World of Warcraft beta tests...and I, like a lot of gamers..Didn't get accepted into the beta tests. So, for the last several months I have been drooling over screenshots of this game..Eagerly waiting the day that I can enter the world of warcraft.
As many of you know, World of Warcraft(WoW) was released a few weeks back, and I naturally decided to order it. However the company which I ordered from ran out of stock. This meant that I have had to sit and wait for them to get some more in stock.
Well, apparently they got them in stock, because it arrived in my mail today, and now I am FINALLY able to experience this game...and it was WELL worth the wait. This game is everything I hoped it would be! I haven't spent much time playing it, and have only experienced a small fraction of the game..But I love what I have seen so far..So, if I start slacking off on blog posts..You'll know why. ;p

attempt at poetry
Well, I think yesterday I successfully demonstrated my complete inability to draw. In fact, after viewing that image I'm sure somebody had to think to themselves "Geeze, that's HORRID! Can this guy do ANYTHING other than embarass himself on-line?"..and to that, I reply...Good question!
In fact, I don't really have any major talent at all. I mean, when I was younger, around Christmas time, I was able to figure out what EVERY gift under the tree was..Even without peeking. However I don't think that's a terribly useful talent, and certainly not one thats going to impress anyone who might be reading this blog.
So? What's left? Ermmm...What about poetry??? Yea, I could try my hand at writing poetry...So, if you want to read my attempt at poetry..click the "More" link.
neon
I love Neon signs. I'm not sure what it is about neon signs that I love so much..maybe it's the colors? Neons also tend to remind me of the 80's, which I am kind of embarassed to admit..is the best time period that I have lived in..IMHO anyway.
Anyway, needless to say I was very pleased to find this photo album containing some VERY beautiful images of neon signs. This album was found on Hammer and Peg, which has a number of other great albums..and happens to be a pretty nifty blog as well!
